Job Description:
Woodbury Elder Law and Estate Planning team oriented firm, in conjunction with Financial Services and Accounting firm seeking organized and highly motivated associate attorney with excellent verbal and written communication skills to join our growing practice. Opportunity to work with firm clients and freedom to build own clientele.
Qualifications:
New York licensed attorney
- At least 2 years of experience in elder law, estate planning and estate administration
- Client service oriented with the ability to meet with clients and assess their needs
- Organized, team player who is considerate and able to work well with others
- Self-motivated and proactive in organizing work, able to anticipate issues
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Additional practices with room for growth and education in Financial Services and Accounting.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting, proofreading, and finalizing estate planning documents.
- Estate administration processing from start to finish.
- Communication with clients, financial institutions and courts
- Marketing, social media projects and community events for firm
- Concierge service to clients
- Support of the Medicaid intake, processing, and review with DSS.
