Job Description:

Thriving civil litigation law practice seeking organized, experienced legal assistant or paralegal for full-time, permanent position.

Job duties:

Assist in drafting pleadings and discovery and ability to file

Prepare and send correspondence

Review legal documents, summarize relevant information

Calendar and keep up with deadlines

Correspond and communicate with clients, opposing counsel and Court staff

Requirements:

Previous employment in legal field

Experience in Word, Outlook, Excel, efiling, office equipment (or able to learn)

Organizational skills

Attention to detail

Analytical and logical thinking

Ability to clearly and correctly communicate, both verbally and in writing

Professional conduct and language

Self-motivated and likes to “think outside the box”

40 hours a week

M-F 8-5, occasional overtime

Pay based on experience.
