Job Description:
Assistant General Counsel
Duties: Assist the Chief Legal Officer and senior management in identifying and managing significant legal and compliance risks and opportunities. Serve as a strategic legal advisor to the company, providing legal advice and services in a variety of areas, which may include. Commercial transactions and agreements in the Americas, EU, and Asia; sales and lease contracts, distribution agreements. Research arrangements and agreements for clinical research and joint development. Transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, collaborations, and licensing. Regulatory and quality - compliance with legal requirements. HR matters - employment agreements, compensation, benefits; training. Intellectual property and data privacy matters. Investigations, litigation, dispute resolution. Real estate - company facilities. Securities and Finance - transactions, shareholder relations, equity incentive plans; possible IPO or other transition to a public company. Corporate governance matters.
