How to Write a IP Litigation Oncology Attorney Job Description

Mid-size national law firm is seeking an experienced attorney with 4 years of experience to join their Intellectual Property Group in Sydney. Candidate will manage a broad range of intellectual property litigation matters and draft correspondence, evidence, prepare and monitor deadlines.  The position will assist with briefing and instructing counsel, client meetings and liaising directly with clients to gather instructions. Candidate will have the opportunity to mentor, train and supervise associates, graduates and summer clerks and assist with business development and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Must have experience gained within a top tier, large international or boutique intellectual property firm.
• Experience managing complicated patent ligation with pharmaceutical litigation being advantageous.
• Exposure to copyright and trade mark litigation would be advantageous.
• Must have excellent written, drafting and verbal communication skills and strong client liaison skills.
