How to Write a IP Litigation Genetics Attorney Job Description

Law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join their intellectual property litigation team in New York Office. Should have substantive experience drafting and prosecuting applications, conducting litigation validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses, and supporting IP due diligences, patent litigations, post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences) and other IP matters in the life sciences related to cutting-edge technologies, such as gene editing, cellular therapies, antibody-based therapeutics, and molecular diagnostics.Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of IP litigation experience.
• Advanced degree (Ph.D. degree preferred, or M.S. with several years industry experience) in the biological sciences (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Virology).
• Must be registered to practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and be admitted to a State Bar (New York preferred).
• Should have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior academic background and a desire for teamwork, significant responsibility and client interaction.
