How to Write a Electrical Engineering Patent Attorney Job Description

Law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join their IP practice in Pasadena office. Candidate will draft patent prosecution documents including patent applications, amendments, and analyzing and responding to USPTO Office Actions as well as various additional patent prosecution documents as may be required to move a patent application to issue. Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in patent preparation, prosecution, IP strategy and portfolio management, and U.S. and international patent procurement strategy (USPTO, PCT, EPO).
• A Mastersdegree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Admission before the USPTO is required and CA bar is preferred.
